Come Follow Me is een grondige Basiscursus voor nieuwe gelovigen met een moslim achtergrond.

Het helpt hen om een sterke identiteit te krijgen als volgers van Jezus, terwijl ze nog steeds zorgen voor hun moslimfamilies.

De cursus maakt deel uit van The Friendship Trio, gebaseerd op Friendship First, een onderdeel daarvan is het helpen van nieuwe gelovigen uit het moslim-geloof en gemeenschap.

De cursus omvat een combinatie van zelfstudie, regelmatige discussie met een mentor (of in een groep) en praktische leertaken. Deep-level discipleship beïnvloedt problemen van behoren tot, wereldbeeld en gedrag.

Muslim people worldwide are turning to Jesus. How can they grow a strong identity as disciples of Christ and members of his community while still caring for their Muslim families? 

The ‘Come Follow Me’ discipleship course specifically aims to help new believers from Muslim background. Course participants grow through a powerful combination of self-study, regular discussion with a mentor (or in a group) and practical learning tasks. Deep-level discipleship affects issues of belonging (e.g. to old and new communities), issues of worldview (including fatalism, revenge, good deeds etc) and issues of behaviour (such as marriage relationships, conflict resolution). All these topics and more are tackled in this course, within the framework of an inductive study of 1 Peter.

Each learner will need one copy of the Course Book (154 pages), and the mentor also needs the Advisor’s Guide. The Farsi version of the Advisor’s Guide is not yet available but the first lessons will be available to download from the come-follow-me website from mid-November 2017.
