موضوع این تقویم مسیحی افغانستان: همبستگی است. در یک دوره زمانی که اغلب سوء تفاهم و تقسیم بین گروه های مختلف وجود دارد صحنه های زیبا از افغانستان، آیه های کتاب مقدس، ضرب المثل های افغانستان و شعر در دری و پشتو به کشف اهمیت همبستگی کمک می کند. خداوند خواستار همبستگی، اتحاد، صلح، دوستی، مراقبت و زندگی صحیح در میان همه انسان ها است.   تقویم یک منبع دلگرم کننده است که توسط اکثر افغان ها قدردانی شده است. تقویم از ماه 1396 شروع می شود و در ماه اول ماه 1398 ادامه می یابد.

Afghan Christian Calendar 1397

The proverbs and Bible verses express the theme: Freedom

The calendar is an encouraging resource appreciated by most Afghans. The calendar begins the last month of 1395 and continues through the first month of 1397 (from February until April). 

In an age where there is often increasing misunderstanding and division between various groups, the Afghan Christian Calendar highlights the need for solidarity and unity. This new calendar shows pictures with beautiful scenes from Afghanistan. The accompanying Bible verses, Afghan proverbs and poetry in Dari and Pashto aid in discovering the importance of solidarity to those who seek to know God. The proverbs and Bible verses express the theme that God desires solidarity, unity, peace, friendship, care, and right living among all human beings. The calendar is an encouraging resource appreciated by most Afghans.

Features of the calendar:

• 16 pages letter-size, printed on full-color glossy paper. 
• The calendar is for the Afghan year 1397. It begins the last month of 1396 and continues through the first month of 1398 (from February until April). In Afghanistan, March 21st is a national holiday, Now Ruz (New Year's Day). The calendar is an ideal New Year's gift for Afghans! Even months after Now Ruz, Afghans are glad to receive the calendar. They often save the beautiful calendar pictures of Afghanistan for years after the calendar was originally published.
• The names of the months and the Bible verses are in the two national languages of Afghanistan, Dari and Pashto. The names of the Iranian months are also shown. 
• The Western (Gregorian) calendar is printed alongside the Afghan (solar) calendar. This helps Afghans to understand and reconcile dates between the two calendar systems.
